I NEED HELP- im trying to build a 383 stroker.
I bought a 350 for my 1991 camaro. I want to make it a drag car and want to make it street legal. I really want to go the 383 stroker way but i want idea's and i need some spec info or sheets. Any advice will be very helpful.

Chances are you're not going to find a donor 400 engine to get a crank and if you do, it's better to just build the 400. Your 350 engine would need to be a 2 piece rear main version to use the 400 crank. The 400 crank isn't a direct drop in. The mains need to be machined down to fit into the 350 block.
Your best bet is to buy a package with all the parts required to build one. You'll still need to get machine work done because the block will need to be bored out for the new pistons. Depending how much you purchased the 350 for and what kind of mechanical skills you have, it may be cheaper to just buy a prebuilt 383 at whatever power level you want.
Places like Jegs and Summit Racing have plenty of kits and engines to pick from.

I thought he ment for me to get a bigger engine until i read the post again. I know that a stroker will be alot of work but i dont know what other small block chevy option I have that could produce over 500hp.

A 383 stroker is a common upgrade for a 350. The next step up is to build a 400 SBC providing you can still find one. If you really want power but want to stay with a SBC, you can go with a 434 however you won't be using too many production parts to make such an engine however there are plenty of preassembled engines available all depending on what kind of power levels you want.
The next big jump from that is to use a BBC then there's no limit to how much power you can have.
