i have a 90 camaro rs with a 305 v8 and 700R4 trans and i was thinking of going carbed 350 v8. if i do that and could i take a wiring harrness for a carbed camaro and get rid of mine and still have all the guages working and trans

You don't have to swap harnesses at all - everything will work fine if you follow the basics outlined in the carb forum stickies and posts.
