1986 305 TPI to a 1987 V6 Grand National

I currently have a 1986 IROC-Z 305 TPI engine. I want to know if it's possible, without major modification, to install a V6 turbo-charged engine out of a 1987 Buick Grand National. I'm told from a friend that engine/tranny mounts, wiring harness, etc... are identical and this would be an easy drop in. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I think you'll soon see that what you were told is not completely accurate.

Five7kid, Thank you for the reply. I guess I'll look at putting in a 350 afterall. What I've seen however is that it has to be a certain year 350 if I want to use my current harness. Something about the heads/intake manifold for the 1986 I believe.
