'87 305 carb to 350 ???
i got a 87 camaro 305 carb. i want to drop a 350 init probably TPI wat should i do and wat do i have to do?

being an '87, you do have the option of the ZZ4 conversion, which GM figured out back in '89. 308 emissions-legal HP, 367 ft-lbs, looking like the engine you have now, except for the intake manifold and air cleaner, but a lot less grime and grunge. The TPI350 can be modified to give even more legal HP and TQ, but I'm not going into that, I'll leave that to those who are more familiar with it.

I'm working on a carbed 305 to carbed 350 swap in my 87 TA as we speak (just came in from working on it actually). if you are looking to do TPI, you will need a whole new computer and wiring harness. would definitely help to find a complete donor car to grab everything out of as it will be quite extensive.
