Engine: 2.8L V6
Transmission: A4
2.8L -> 3.8L?
Just looking for a quick answer on if the 3.8l V6s from the 4th gen camaros will fit and function properly in my 86 camaro

If you have a complete but totalled 4th gen donor car, then sure you could. The better question is why. Why spend all that money just for 200 hp?

parts are plentiful, reliable, and doable. good milage too.
that's why. still more hp than some v8's that came in the f-bods
edit: forgot to mention, already put one in the old 85 bird, and someone else did it before I did.
