I have a question about the starters on the 350 F-bodies. I just found out that all the 350's in the 82 - 92 F-bodies use the small 305 flexplate/flywheel. I just put a 350 in my 82 Z28 and now I am having a hard time getting a starter that will work (because I have the larger flexplate). I was told that a 84 Corvette has the large flexplate and the small starter. Is this true? I was just wondering if anyone has run into this problem before and if so what did you have to do to fix it?
