Oi, asked too much its one of the most common swaps, since you already have a v8 car its actually pretty damn easy:

There's more to it than that. You need to increase fuel pressure via a different in-tank pump. And change the ECM. Along with the entire induction change. Different radiator/heater hoses. Different throttle cables.
