old heads on new engine
old heads on new engine
i figured out that im going to buy a GM service engine from a dealer in PA (cheapest i could find it) and since im buying a short block, i have to reuse the heads from my 130,000+mile L98. Will this be ok, or should i look into getting vette heads from a junk yard or having the cast heads reworked? new aftermarket heads are not an option, for now at least

i'd take the iron l98 heads you have to a shop to be reground and checked out. should cost you around 150 dollars.
