I must use a 400 fly wheel(168 tooth) to balance my engine. I know a few 400's came w/a 4-speed but does anyone know of a clutch for my application.

If this is a 3rd gen F car, forget it. That flywheel won't fit in your bell housing. And there's no "must" about it in any case.

I have an externally balanced 400 in my 83 5-speed car. I had to do 2 things:

1. Have a 153-tooth flywheel "unbalanced" at the balance shop to the stock 400 spec

2. Drill the correct hole in the block for the 153-tooth starter. Depending on your 350 block this may or may not be necessary.

Use the stock application of clutch. I happen to have a Centerforce Dual Friction in mine. It's what the book lists for a 83 Z28 5-speed.

You could buy the lakewood bellhousing for our cars. It fits both flywheels. Thats what I use to hold my tremec in place. Works good.
