I am still trying to decide wether i want to go with a new crate 350, or just throw in the 85 blazer 350 that i can get my hands on. At first i wanted to get 350 horses so i was gonna go with crate...but now i think money might be the biggest issue not horsepower.
So im wondering exactly what it will take to swap my carbed 85 blazer 350 into my 91 305 tbi. I want to keep the TBI, but i dont want it to be a total dog either. So Im assuming i need a new intake...how about computer...i know they say a custom chip is needed unless you want to be a total slowpoke. What else?
What im figuring is if i know exactly what i need for this engine swap...and its not too much...i can just throw this engine in, and build it up in time. I hear this engine probly put out around 250 horses, which is better then my stock 305 TBI at least.
