I was wondering what mods you have done to the engine, are you running the ZZ4 conversion package and what times are you running? If I got the kit I would like to upgrade it with maybe a different cam and put bigger valve in the heads, and also run headers. Any comments would be appreciated, thanks.

I swapped my tired '88 350 TPI for the ZZ4 without the kit.
Modified the air filter housing (Cut windows)
Removed MAF screens and fins
Shaved the heads down to 59cc and had them ported by Morgantini racing:
-PC Seals
-30 Degree 5 Angle job
-K-Motion H-11 tool steel springs
> 130# @ 1.700
> 380# @ max
> +.050 Titanium retainers
Ported the TPI myself:
-Added SLP runners that I siamesed to the middle
-TIG'd on the base runners to build them up so I could raise the entry angle
-58mm BBK throttle body, coolant bypassed
-SVO 24# FI's, afpr@ 52psi, Holly 255lph pump
SLP 1.75" Headers, Hollow 3" cat, SLP 3" cat-back
Ditched the a/c,smog pump,air
TCI Streetfighter/Satarday Night TC/4.10 Auburn Pro-Posi/SFC's/STB/Made my own torque arm using rod ends/made my own panhard/Lakewood Traction.action bars
180 deg thermo and a TPIS Stage 5 chip burned to match all this
I love this car! Lights BFG Drags (16") for a city block without line-locking or brake standing. It's too cold to hook up now but in summer it runs great. I wish I had a track nearby (Island,NJ and New Media and too far for 4.10's) so I don't have a timeslip or a dyno sheet... It's fast though TMWFI. The ZZ4 profile still gives me good mpg's even with 4.10s if I stay on the back roads (No over 50 mph) ill get 18mpg!!
I left alot of room for upgrades but I like it where it's at. The only street race I lost to so far was a sleeper Thunderbird SC with a 460 and lots of spray and it was only by 2 lengths (We have a quarter mi marked off on a dead end highway ummm..... can't incriminate meself!) I could drive it every day if I had to (except in snow). What more can ya ask for.
