Engine Id?
I just bought a '82 Camaro, with a 305 Caprice engine, and a Edelbrock manifold in it. I was wondering how do I find out the engine id. I need to do some work on it but I havent been able to find out what year it is and any other information.

back where the engine bolts to the tranny on the top by the firewal will be a casting number, write that down and look for it over on www.mortec.com
