what is all involved in a tbi to tpi swap, besides the obvious intake, feul pump, computer.....

it is an 86 tpi and an 88 tbi

will the 86 harness plug into the firewall and the computer? if i just switch the wireing? or do i have to get a harness made?

Well, I am about to this to my formula and have been checking on it and i found a article in Chevy High Performance from June 1997. It was done on a truck. They used a aftermarket system but used the original TBI computer and wiring harness. Minus they had to get Allan Bessant of B.E.P. performance center to make a custom chip and had to wire in the extra injectors.
I haven't contacted him on prices or anything until I can save some more money back. But his phone # is (714) 744-9275. Hey if you contact him please tell me the price for the chip.
