Stock v6 pump work with 8?

I am doing a swap to a GM goodwrench replacment 350. Will my stock pump work if I put TPI on this beast?

I believe you will need to switch to a larger pump or you may be starving the engine for fuel. You could just get an inline one or maybe just snag a v-8 camaro/firebird one from a junkyard. Although they are in the tank which would be a pain.

When i went from the multi port 2.8 to a tpi 305 i didn't change the pump. It worked fine in my case. It didn't run lean or anything.

'88 RS (originally 2.8)
New 350, .040 over, ported vette L98s, ported stock tpi.
Old 305 injectors & chip
TES headers, 3.73 gears, 700r4.
Best with 2.8-17.4@77mph
Best with 305-15.0@93mph
Best with 356-13.7@101mph
(Damn the 2.8!)

rob you puts you dont have to change it. as long as the fuel pressure is 43.5 psi at idle, and 55? at full? well, as long as it goes up when you hit it.
