305 to ZZ4 Swap

alright, I have a friend who has a 305 tpi and wants to switch over to a zz4 and wants to keep the tpi intake or at least fuel injected. Alright I think that he will need more air flow, so I was thinking of maybe the mini ram set up. Is there anyone out there that has done this switch? and if so what is giving you the best airflow? thanks

The ZZ4 isn't really a top-end type performer. A mildly modded TPI would work better with the midrange power the ZZ4 puts out. Unless you plan on going bigger with the cam in the future, the mini is a little much. Do the plenum, runners (siams work best) and maybe get in on the edelbrock group purchase on the base. With a PROM burned to match the ZZ4 will love going to 6000rpm and will have a broad torque curve right off idle.

Oh yeah sorry I forgot to add he wanted to go with the hot cam and a pair of the fast burn heads. So would the modified tpi do it or would he have to upgrade? Alright thanks again.
