We are currently looking for a 4- bolt main block to build up a 383 stroker. Have located a 4-bolt main, one-piece rear seal block but am running into an issue that we need help with. That being the difference between a one-piece rear seal block vs. a split seal block. Have not yet come across a stroker kit for the one-piece seal block. Do they exist? If so who? We are also being told by a local speed shop that the machine work required on the one-piece seal block to prep it for the stroker kit is more extensive than that required on a split seal block. Is this true? If so, why?

I believe Powerhouse has a 1-piece kit, otherwise you can just order the parts seperately. SCAT makes a one piece rear main seal stroker crank. As far as the machine work....I don't see why it would be more money.
