305carb to 350carb or tpi?
If i were to swap my 305 should i try and go with the 350 tpi setup, or just save myself the wiring and go with a carb? What years did they make a 350 with a carb, and what are the engine codes?
thanks

It really depends upon what you're trying to achieve. The 350 never came with a carb in 3rd gens. If you have emissions concerns, you can go with the 350HO Camaro conversion kit and have a certified setup. Or, you could go the stealth route and put a 350 longblock under your LG4 equipment.
The TPI is certainly the next step up in technology, but getting it together would be a lot more work than the above options. However, driveability and gas mileage typically improve with TPI.
Either way, exhaust upgrades are a must.

The kit is about $4300 plus shipping and tax. It is very complete, although it uses exhaust manifolds rather than headers. Even includes ECM, PROM, transmission beef-up/reprograming, and lower control arms for the rear.
350 3rd gens only came with TPI as you observed.
