86 tpi to 74 carbed ?????s
so i blew up my 86 iroc with tpi and i put in my 1974 350 with holeey carb. the problem is that the fuel pump in the tank blow fuel up out the top of the carb. will a fuel pressure regulator solve my problem. if so what should it be set on for a 600 holley carb and pretty much stock engine? if not how can i solve my problem? thanks everyone

Yes, a Mallory 4309, and various other return-style variants. But, it has to be return style, not a $30 Holley dead head reg. Set it for 6 psi.
Any particular reason you didn't put the TPI on the 350?

I agree with five7, return style only on the reg. TPI would definitely have been a good choice if this was your daily driver.
If you're sticking with a carb, the 600 would be plenty for a relatively stock engine.
