GM crate engines,,what will they run in 3rd gen

I will be either putting a crate sbc in my 82 Z,, or building a 350. Just wondering if any of you guys have put a GM crate motor in.. This will be a carb motor.

You gotta be more specific then that, there are different crate motors out there that you can get from 2 grand to 4 grand. It all depends on what you want to achieve, and how much money you got...!!

The swap kit, which is complete from the oil pan to the air cleaner, is good for solid 13.8's with a decent trans and good axle ratio.

The hotter the engine the faster it goes.

Think the HTP had some low 13's for the RamJet equipped RS.
