Need advice

I don't know what to do, put the GM 350ho conversion kit into my '84 Z28 or buy a '92 Z28 w/ a 350 L98 engine. The '92 has 47000 with nothing wrong with the body except the ground effect in the front is cracked. When I looked at it today it was running rough at idle and the power door locks, mirrors and hatch were not working. The dealer was asking $8995 for it and I would trade my '84 Z28 and they were going to give me about $1000 for it, so the final price after everything was fixed is $7900. Should I just do the swap which is going to cost me more if I keep my car and have everything done to it for it to be in really good condition, or buy the '92 and in the long run modify it? Any comments or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I faced this same situation a while ago. I hesistated several times with motor swaps on my last car('92 RS), and i regret it. I should have just done it and got it over with. Is the 350ho a EFI motor? If not i would go with the newer car. I personally like fuel injection better. Sounds a little pricey for the new one. i wold say more like $5500 or $6000 final price.
