+both will bolt in the same way
-both will need new wiring harnesses + computer
-both will require new fuel pump
+LT1 will have more stock horsepower

Re: 3.1 to tpi350 or lt1
thanks, that is what i figured. I have read all the stickys and have been looking at what everyone has been saying in here for months. I got this car for free about a year ago and have been doing body work on it when i have the time (which is hardly ever) So far it is coming out nice. I am going to finish the body work and probably start interior work, but, I want to go ahead and buy a motor and put it on my stand and work on it while I also collect all the things needed to0 do the swap, which is a lot. i am going to ride the v6 til it dies lol. If i get a donor car and buy a lt1 vette motor or a newer model ta, how much will be different from the factory v8 to lt1. or would it just be easier to get the tpi350. I'll also put some pics on here of the work i've done so far.
