Car: 87 Iroc Z28
Engine: 5.7 Carb
Transmission: TH350, B&M shift kit, Huges 3000 sc
Axle/Gears: 3:23 Posi
DOES ANYONE have a pic of a labled carb engine harness without emissions?
I recently dropped a pre 1986 350 GM crate motor in my 1987 show camaro.
I eliminated the computer, ALL emissions, It is carbed with manual choke and vacuume advance HEI distributor, electric single fan.
My question is: DOES ANYONE have a pic of a labled carb engine harness without emissions?? I bought an engine harness from someone who had this same setup and used this harness. Its only has at the most 10 points of connection. If ANYONE has a pic of this harness with WHERE it goes and WHAT it is would be freakin awsome!!! Better yet if anyone wants to make some cash and come hook this up for me that would be cool, I live in N. Jersey. Any and ALL HELP will be GREATLY appreciated.

If your car had a V8, you don't need a different harness. The computer stuff is all contained in one harness that goes to the passenger fender well.
You need starter wire, chassis power wire (goes to the starter along with the battery cable), ignition power wire (large pink wire), tach wire (if you car has a tach), oil pressure sending wire, temperature gauge wire, and the wires that go to the alternator. That's 9 wires. They all go to the rear driver side corner of the engine compartment.

It was V6 RS, I purchased the harness from someone who claims to have had the same set up. but I cant identify the tach wire, the wiper motor wires (mine is different then the one in the pic above, No harness on the left) there is one red wire that has full 12 volt power constantly even with the key out?? There are two seperate 3 slot plugs that are connected by one white wire, What does that go to? also a wire with a metal inline cylinder what is that to? I appologise for the semingly dumb questions, Thank you for ALL your help.

No dumb questions when it comes to wiring really. The setup you are using should be different from mine, the carb setups were for the older pre 87/88 cars. I am thinking the constant 12 volts you are sewing might be for a soleniod maybe.
