one 6 for another
how hard would it be to switch out my 2.8 for a turbo charged grand national 6?
would i be able to use the same transmision i have now?

That would be a pretty big project. Not only finding the motor, but all the other parts you need like computer and wiring harnass.
I don't think the tranny's are the same. I'm pretty sure that the grand national 3.8 had a 2004r automatic behind it. You would probably be better off buying a turbo 3.8 out of one of the 89 turbo trans ams.

Post this over in the V6 board too, there's some guys who've looked into it. I believe the transmission, and some other small stuff needs to be replaced. Also, if you want AC, you'll have to find heads off of a 89 TTA.
