tpi fuel pump v.s. tbi fuel pump.

can i use a throttle body injectio fuel pump with tuned port? the displacement of the motor is the same? will it pump insufficient pressure?

No you can't use the TBI pump with the TPI motor because it provides less pressure than the TPI requires. It runs around 40psi at idle whereas the Tbi runs around 13 or soemthing like that. Hope this is of help to you
