Buick GN Drive trains
I have the opportunity to trade for some Buick GN stuff. Specifically 2 complete motors, trans, and harnesses and computers, and one additional motor. My question is how hard will it be to install into a 3rd gen Fire Bird or Camaro.

I posed a almost the same question a while back. You will need to change the trans, ecm, wiring harness, motor mounts and a bunch of misc items. It will take some work, but if done right well worth it.

Of course the heads are different, they're V6 heads . I think he's talking about takin' the 350 out and putting in the GN's turbo 3.8, man those things kick *** , good luck.

No, the GN head will not work in a F-body. You have to use heads out of a olds cierra i believe or from a TTA. That would be the biggest cost factor.

You can use GN heads but you can't use A/C and you'll have to Fab a Downpipe but they fit otherwise.

It's all in the FAQs, about 1/4 way down the page.
