how difficult? Pontiac 350 in third gen?

How difficult would it be to put a pontiac 350 in to a third gen?

has any one done this?

what kind of intake can put on the pontiac 350? TPI?

It would be difficult for some. Depends on how much you want to engineer yourself. If you were to put a pontiac engine in, I would go for the 455, or atleast a 400 as the dimensions are the same as the 350. With most in the pontiac crowd, a 350 is flower pot.

Axle/Gears: 3.27
EVERYTHING is different. And there's no way a TPI intake would fit on a Pontiac 350.

You'd also need a transmission that has the BOP (Buick Olds Pontiac) bellhousing pattern, or an adaptor plate. A Chevy trans won't bolt directly to a Pontiac engine.

I'm a big fan of true Pontiac engines, but not in thirdgens. Just my .02
