All LT1s in Texas

Is it just me or does it seem most of the LT1 conversions and LT1 yards are in Texas. What's the reason behind this?

Does anyone know any good north east locals to find LT1s?

It's because us Texans always modify the hell out of everything. 92 Formula, you're in sherman. If you feel like traveling to Rowlett, there is a guy named Ron Sessions who sells LT1s, LS1s, and a bunch of other stuff. The name of the place is Regal Performance. His website is www.lt1sthatrun.com. Hope that helps.
