I just completed a 350 swap into a bone stock carbed 305Z28. Before the swap, I knew next to nothing about engines or cars. I was guided by patience, chiltons manuals, and knowledge wrought from this message board. To all those newbies who are pondering a 350 swap on thier own, I wish you the best of luck. This swap took me over two months, and tested my limits of patience repeatedly. Buy good parts, because if you buy junkyard parts like I did, then they will only add to your frustration when you find out that they are no good. Good luck to all, if I can do it so can you... and thanks to all who helped me from the message board. I just graduated from college and now I have a $1,100 Z28... life is good.
