my winter build

ok guys so here it is. after tons and tons of reseach and hrs and hrs at the track talking to guy that run alot i have made up my mind on what i want to do with my 86 sport coup. i was goin to go with a nasty little 327, my buddie has one we just put in his fire chicken and that thing and screams and it moves very well. but not enough power for me lol. i am goin to do a 383 build, all forged bottom end roller every thing 562 573 cam 850 cfm carb. aluim trick flow heads set up for sprey. and i bought a noz kit for 80 bucks off my buddies boss with every thing in it and i going to put a 175 shot on it. im going to back it up with a 3200 stall and a th400. followed but a costem drive shaft from mr drive shafts. hoked up to a ford nine inch with 373 gears and 245/15 out back and skinnies up front. i will be posting pics during the build. so far i have pull the motor outa the cammaro. i have also re done the inside. so tell my what you guys think any buddy out there that can tell me what kinda of power ill be looking at or a ball park 1/4 time. im hoping for at least mid 11's

Need more details on the cam, intake, and exhaust.

How are Trick Flow heads "set up" for nitrous?

There's about a 99% chance that carb will be too big. You'll be quicker with a 750.

Re: my winter build

the heads are set up for spray with stainless steal valves and to spring per velve. from what im talk at the speed shop the carb might be to small. my buddie has a 750 on his 327 and that just enough for that. i dont no the details off teh top of my head for the cam il have to get those. but i have done a ton of reseach and this is looking like that is goin to be my best bet. why do you say that the carb will be to big. the guy who has been helping me out at my speed shop has a 383 in a 70 nova with less stuff done to it then i plan on doin and he is runing a 850 with sprey with no problems and hes in the 10 with a 250 shot.
