Ok, so my friend has a lincoln continental with this MONSTER engine in it. It's a 460 v8...it's crazy, anyway, if i put this into a camaro would it go faster or just have lots more power? Also, how hard is the switch from non-fuel injected to fuel injected?

Hah...well I didn't mean for the brand blasphemy, but It's at my disposal and was wondering if it would make a really significant difference in speed not just like power...cause all that extra weight I don't know if it equals out.

A lot of old-time hotrodding was totally blind regarding the brands of the parts vs the chassis.

Info I have list the 429 & 460 Fords at 720#, or about 35# heavier than the Chevy 396/402/427/454. I have no idea how that compares to the 502's though.

most 460s have the oilpan sump in the front, right where your crossmember is.you could possibly use a rear sump pan from a truck
