I just swapped my 305 for a 383roller setup. Has anyone ever tried a counter weight adapter that can be used to turn a stock (15? - 168 tooth) neutral flex plate into a 400sb style flex plate?

Prior to going to the forged cranks, I ran the balance plates on stock 400 cranks with the small flexplate for several years in my dirt cars. As long as it's all balanced together there's nothing wrong with them. I ran for five years before going to forged cranks and never had a failure of the stock 400 crank. All engines were over 550 HP on alcohol and turned 7000 every night of racing.
As I said balance it all together and you won't have a problem.
Later,,, drt-rcr
I think its a 153 tooth and the big one is 168 tooth
