Anybody ever do 305 TBI Auto to 350 LT1/6 speed?

Anybody ever do 305 TBI Auto to 350 LT1/6 speed?
Somebody I know can get me an LT1 with a 6 speed t-56 for a decent price. Would you guys think this is a reasonable project, or does it seem like trying to do way too much at once?

Engine: 385ci LT1 cnc ported heads big cam
Transmission: 4L60E automatic
Axle/Gears: 3.42 Zexel posi 7.5" rear
Best thing is to get together with someone that can buy a wrecked 4th gen that has the LT1 and 6speed. Their may be someone on this board that can buy from insurance auctions or a local salvage yard. But by having the whole car you will have all the parts you need. Then part off some of the car and scrap the rest. Check out www.bidawreck.com
