FOAM Engine .... WHERE????

My friend has a Studebaker Avanti.... and hes totally redoing it (already put in a whole independent front suspenion with huge disc brakes, and he just bought the indepent rear from a new wrecked vette) well he told me to find out where he could buy a Fake FOAM engine (350) so he can figure out where to do stuff like mount the engine mounts, and he would also like to buy a FOAM 700R tranny. DOES ANYBODY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS??? Do they even Exist??

IIRC the Avanti came with a 283. The motor mounts for a 283 and a 350 are the same. He shouldn't have to do anything to that. If he doesn't have the mounts, all he has to do is get the stock Avanti mounts and he'll be good to go.

It's a fairly simple matter to set a 700 and a Powerglide (what those came with) next to each other, and fabricate a crossmember.

A buddy of mine has 2 mercruiser big blocks in plastic. They are the new 496 motors that are replacing the 502s. Wanna buy one?
