Need a favor, someone w/ desktop dyno
My dad built this engine for his truck, and he never had it dynoed. I was wondering if someone could do me a huge favor and desktop dyno the engine for me. here are the specs:
World S/R Heads with 1.94 intake and 1.5 exh.
Block is 4 bolt main, balanced, cast pistons
9.3:1 compression
Edelbrock Performer Intake
Edelbrock 600 cfm carb
Heddman Long Tube Headers w/ dual 40 series flowmasters.
Cam: Flat tappet, .435" intake and .460" exh
Rocker arm ration: 1.5"
I would be happy to answer any questions, anyone who could do this, it would be greatly appreciated.

I did it for ya. I used 210/220 dur. @.050" with a LSA of 112. I assume they are the S/R 305 heads. The 1.94/1.50 valve sizes clued me in on that. The Dyno said 309hp@5000rpm/383lb.ft@3500rpm.
I can tell you (and I am talking to you, not others) that I tested the DD to get an idea of the accuracy. What I did was compare the output #s to the story that CHP magazine did on the Budget 350. Every combo that they did, I did also. I even have the bench flow rates of the heads which they used. I found that the DD was always within 3-5hp & 5-8lb.ft of what CHP got by using an actual dyno. I've also read reviews of the DD and it was stated many times, by many different magazines, that even the best dynomometers vary by at least that much.
I ain't saying that that's 100% true all the time. There are exceptions to every rule. But if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and talks like a duck, then it must be a duck.
