I'm considering buying my friends 1989 RS with the TBI 305 in it and swapping in an LT1 and a 6 speed. What parts will I need for the motor swap?

Well

you need:

fuel pump from any tpi engine , 60$
custom power sterring hydrolic line 30$
custom fuel line 5 $
need spark wire is recommended 59$ for BOSCH
new spark plug
oil, filter, air filter, fuel filter maybe 100$ including K&N air filter
wiring harness 250-350$
2 radiator hoses, 40$
new gears in your rear-end, you have 2,73 it's REALLY small, TEXASLT1 has 3.08 and I believe it's pretty small also. 3.42 would be good.
1 can of Gunk to wash the engine (it's worth it !!!)
lot and lot of time and tools !


there's lot of material not needed like psark plug wire , it's worth it to do it while the engine is not in the car.
