The 330 horse 350 crate engine uses Vortec heads, which originally came on light truck engines with TBI. The heads do not have exhaust crossover passages, which the EGR valve needs; and require a special intake manifold, for which an q-jet/EGR-type is available, but you'll have to plumb exhaust up to the manifold somehow or another.
What type of induction do you have on your engine now - carb, TPI? If TPI, there isn't any Vortec manifold available yet (unless rumors that TPIS has one now are true).
If you get one past CA smog test, you'll be a hero. Not to say it isn't possible...
But, to answer you first question, your restrictive stock exhaust manifolds will bolt up to these heads.

I have the stk. q-jet,and plan to have Jet Performance rebuild and rejet carb again,I work about 1 mile from their shop. Can headers be added as easily after the engine is installed,as compared to when I install it?The budget is getting stretched if I go with the 330 horse motor...
Isn't anyone in Calif. or somewhere with similar smog laws running this GM motor.I just want to know if it'll pass the ex. sniffer test with the stk.Q-jet.I'm not that worried about the exhaust/egr.,I hear I can either do the headers and weld on tubes .Or get truck exhaust manifolds.I think I'll go with the headers.

For starters, you will need to get EGR up to the intake, and truck manifolds or headers are not going to do it with an aftermarket carb intake for the vortec heads.
The smog depends alot on the cam profile, I don't know what the cam specs are in that engine.....
As long as you retain all the other stuff, AIR cat, blah, blah..you most likely would be OK, that is if you can get a working EGR system.
You really should talk to someone that has run this combo on a smog machine, Its tough to tell what will pass and what won't....my crystal ball is broken..
