diffrence between tpi block?

Car: 1888 firebird formula
Engine: 350ci 5.7L tpi
Transmission: 5 speed
Axle/Gears: 12 bolt posi track
diffrence between tpi block?
whats the diffrence between a tbi and tpi block coul you put a tbi block in a firebird and just change intake to tpi only thing i have noticed it dont have the roller/hydrulic cam/lifters besides that would it run the same or ruin the motor?

If you're talking about LO3 vs. LB9, they are identical. The cams were different, but that's not the "block".
If you're talking about LO5 vs. L98, the truck LO5's didn't get roller lifters, but the block casting was the same. Also had larger dish in the pistons. Passenger car LO5's I believe were identical to L98 except for the cam, but that's not the "block".
Bottom line: Nothing "special" about TPI blocks vs. TBI.
