f-body 350HO from sdpc2000.com

Within the next year i am planning to do an 305-350TBI swap. I was looking at the 350HO engine for f-bodies at sdpc2000.com and was wondering how much horsepower this engine would produce with a Holley 670cfm TBI and an edelbrock performer intake(EGR) out of the crate. Also is it CA emissions legal, It does come with Edelbrock Aluminum heads and i know those are 50 state legal (EGR)

cam: 191/196 @ 0.050"- .414"/.429" lift
compression: 9 to 1
crank/stroke: LT4 Nodular 3.480"
GM PM rods
Pistons: Hyperutectic 4 Valve Relief flat top
block: 2 Bolt Main 1 pc Rear Seal

Technically, it is not a legal replacement. For all practical purposes, it will pass visual if you have everything hooked up, and sniffer if everything works.

As for power, the cam is pretty lame and the compression pretty low. But, it will likely have a good bit more power than your 305 anyway.

A better cam, smaller chamber heads, headers and a good-flowing rest of the exhaust would make it run better, I'm sure, and still pass inspection/sniffer.

Scoggin-Dickey will put a different cam in that engine for you, just ask. They also have that same engine with Edelbrock aluminum 60cc 2.02-1.6 Heads.

where can i find a CA legal replacement 350 engine with between 275-300HP that will support a TBI, EGR and everything.
