Questions for pending double motor swap

Hello, I own a 91 Firebird with the L03-A4. I plan on swapping in a 4th Gen V8 setup with a 6-speed setup. This is not my question, however.

I would like to buy a Fiero and put the 305 in it after I get my Firebird running again. That way I will have a respectable daily driver, and not run up the miles on the newer engine.

My question is how difficult would it be to do this clearance wise, would the radiator fit? Would I have problems finding a driveshaft to fit?

Thanks,
Clint

I've never seen a SBC in a Fiero. I have seen a Cadillac V8 in one. Fiero's are mid engine/rear drive. It sounds like you want to make the Fiero RWD. (reference to driveshaft) Sound's like a helluva project to me. I'd look into the cadillac conversion.

Good Luck

SBC Fiero swap kits are everywhere. See one here that I dug up in 30 seconds using google: http://www.shelbycustom.com/v8/v8.html

Do a search for V-8 Archie. He came up with the Fiero V-8 swap and makes a complete kit. His website also has tons of information on the swap and pics of swaps in progress.

Yes I did a google search and came up with a lot. Seems to be a bit more difficult and expensive than I thought. Sounds like I need to wait on that and just find a 4 banger S-10 or something.

Thanks for all of the replies.
