I want to get an engine that has similar specs to an F-body.. roller cam, 1 peice rear main seal. What cars came with that style engine? Cam doesn't matter and i will be using either f-body heads or sportsman II's. I want to make some calls to the local junk yards so i need this info... or if anyone is selling such an engine let me know!

Caprice is about it for roller cam 350's. The vortec 350 truck engines some were roller some not.

 

You can use Caprice blocks, some truck blocks, obviously F-Body blocks up to 92, and I believe some Vette blocks.
