Do they make a Aluminum block in a first Generation version?

I think the LS1 is all aluminum but what about normal 350 blocks. Does anyone make them in Aluminum?

Yea, there are a few. Donovan makes one, I suspect Dart does too, probably some others. Figure on 4 grand for the block alone.

IMHO I would just get a complete LS1 for that sorta cashola.

Cash-ola ain't a problem, lol. The engine will be all custom. Just looking to lighten up the front to even out the weight of the car.

just get a drivetrain from a wrecked LS1. You'll be much better off.
