I would be grateful to know what others had to invest to build a stroker and how much power they ended up with. As of now, I plan to use the stock L98 as the foundation of my build up. Once complete, the motor will continue to support a turbo system.
This information will help me
decide if the money would be better spent dropping in a crate motor like the Ram Jet 350 or 502 or going through the trouble of fabricating the necessary hardware to install a LS1.
I would prefer to keep the car true to it's roots. Thank you for your help.

 

i have 1500 bucks dropped in my 84 bird in beefing up the car to hold the 383 stroker and the motor itself but it may be more b/c i used my connections and alot of my mayneed part i had stashed back from building other peoples rides.
