If you feed it all the correct info as I have on several projects you would be amazed how close it actually comes. After drawing up and putting the actual engines in the car and running them on a chasiss dyno I came within 5-10 hp. but the tq. was quite a ways off.

Were the torque numbers higher or lower on the chasiss dyno compaired to what the program came up with? Right now I've got a 350 setup in Desktop Dyno that does 529 hp at 6500 rpm and 465 tq at 5500 rpm.

I have to agree, the horsepower figures are reasonable, but will lie to you if you lie about the figures (err on the conservative side), but the torque figues are way too enthusiastic at lower rpms.
