350 HO crate engine experience??
350 HO crate engine experience??
i'm debating this engine for my 91Z...she's a 305TPI/700R4 car right now. i wanna go for something inexpensive, good power, and the ability to swap on my TPI (after it's ported). i know i'll have to buy a Scoggin-Dickey intake base, but is there anything else i should know?? any good/bad things you've experienced with this engine? what PROM will i need? thanks for any help and suggestions, fellas!

i have the 350 HO and have had nothing but great experiences with it. i have TBI, but im sure a TPI injection on top wont be too much different. i dont know exactly what you are looking to find out, so if you have any specifics, just post em.

i was just wondering if there are any general problems associated with this engine. for example, the LT1 is known for a leaking rear main seal. stuff like that, ya know?? also, how hard is the swap, and would there be anything i'd need to do to bolt it up to my 700R4?? what kinda PROM are you running? and what kinda 1/8mi, 1/4mi, and dyno runs are you putting down?? just feeling the engine out before i make any decisions....
thanks again.
