I just swaped the 305 for my 350.

just felt like sharing my new experience. Bought a rust free 82 camaro with a blown up 305 and put in a 350 i had just built. 10.1 compession pistons, cam. eld.intake holley 750, ported heads. just got it running sunday and it sounds aewsome with open headers. Going to drive it for the first time tomarrow after i adjust the valve train.
can't wait to see wait she'll do. hope the cop isn't around though.

Hey Qwk, how much lighter you think a LS1 t56 setup would be over and iron headed gen1 engine with auto? 100 lbs?

good idea. I thought I heard that the LS1 was 65 lbs. lighter than an LT1, add 40 lbs for iron heads so I came up with 100 lbs.
