Motor swap help and or tricks of the trade

My friend and I plan to install a new engine in my 91 Z28. Is there any tips or tricks on the install? I've never changed a motor in a third gen and wondering if there are any secrets or good tips of advise?
And what about the break in period. Since I have a roller cam, do i need to break the cam in? Any help would be greatly appriciated.

What exactly are you putting in? If basically the same as what you have now, "engine replacement" may be more accurate than "engine swap".

What transmission do you have? How much non-third gen experience do you have?

It's basically the same as most any other RWD job: label hoses & wires as you disconnect them; remove the distributor to give better clearance at the back of the engine; disconnect everything that goes between the engine and body/chassis. Use a tilt sling.

Roller lifter cams do not require a break-in period.
