Engine: 350TPI
Transmission: 700R4 lookin for shift kit
Axle/Gears: 3.23???
TPI or Carb....

I hav a 86 Z28, I took out the stock 305 TPI bcuz i want something stronger, like a 383. Now im jus decidin on tune portin it, or a carb.. can anyone help??

Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
The only emissions-legal carb would be an '86 or '87 computer controlled version. It could handle it better than stock TPI could.

It is possible to upgrade TPI to make it capable of handling a 383, but you'd have to watch your parts selection very carefully.
