Swapping a 305 to a 350
Swapping a 305 to a 350
OK check this out. My girlfriend found a 350 engine for me for $200. i dont know how good of shape its in but its a discount price cuz its her cousins. What all would I have to do to mount the thing in my 92 RS
I know I would have to get some motor mounts and what about a new comp chip and stuff like that. Anything else I should know about? And I will post more when i find out all the specs on the engine

Not to flame, but you might not know as much as you think. The 305 and 350 mount in the frame and to the transmission exactly the same. Depending upon the year of the 350, you may be able to unbolt everything from the 305 and bolt it onto the 350. Your chip may even work, depending upon what you currently have and what that 350 really is.
Tell us more about your car (TBI, TPI), transmission type, modifications if any you've made, and that info on the 350, and we'll be able to give you more specifics.
