v6 to v8 fuel pressure

ok i am swaping a 2.8L v6 to a 305 tbi V8 and want to know if i have to install a fuel pressure regulator or not

Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E

Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89

The regulator is in the TBI unit.
