Dyno numbers
All these engine swaps and no one has Dyno'd
their cars to check RWHP. I bet Kevin 91z
can show us what his car Dyno'd at.

I had my 305 dyno'ed, but I personally don't consider it to qualify as a "swap". It's the original L69 block with different heads, a roller cam, TES, and most everything else (carb, intake, exhaust, air cleaner, all emissions stuff operating) exactly as it came stock. As a brand-new motor, with 8 miles on it, it passed CA emissions a few days before it went to the dyno.
It peaked at 214 RW HP @ 4500 RPM and 282 RW ft-lbs @3300 RPM, which works out to about 260 or 265 crank HP peak.

OK, I was able to have my new 350 dyno'ed before putting it in, but I haven't had it on a chassis dyno since it's been in the car.
With the chip I have in the car and same TBI setup my 350 put out 417 ft/lb at 2500 and 312 HP at 5000 RPM.
This is with SLP 1-5/8 Headers and a single Flowmaster 3" 2 Chamber muffler,The custom Fastchip Prom and fuel pressure at about 20PSI.

So my CC-carbed 305 runs with your TPI 350, żeh? Now I don't feel so bad for nutting my poor car. Still, you didn't do too bad, you got 50 HP or so extra out of it.
